In ancient times, Astrology was a part of man's earliest attempts to understand the Cosmos, and answer that especially thorny, question: "Why?" Then, modern science began, and Astrology, slowly began to slide into Astronomy, and Psychology. Today, Astronomy studies, "How" the Universe 'is'. How it works, what it's made of, but 'why' is still a very mysterious question. For some, the "why" question is really more of a religious or spiritual question, certainly not the domain of modern science, traditionally. Today, however there's a powerful resurgence of interest in the special knowledge and perspectives of 'Astrology'.
About 1500, yrs ago, both Western & Eastern Astrology, described the same sky. The Sun, Moon & Planets of our Solar system, moved around, within a blanket, sky of constellations or Signs, that were always the same. Every spring, the Sun would move into Aries, and every Summer, Cancer, and Leo, and every winter, Capricorn, Aquarius & Pisces. It's amazing really, how similar both systems are! Both, believe that the Sun, Moon & Planets represent a language of Nature, that quite precisely, captures the special, unique and personal nature, characteristics, qualities & tendencies of every human being born, upon this Earth. In addition, both systems believe that the Planets, moving through the 'sky' represents the Karmas, or characteristics of our personalities, moving through all the different areas of our lives.
Find the Earth, in that picture/drawing, in the middle, draw 12 slices of a pie, around the Earth, and those '12 slices' represent all the different areas of the Life. Traditionally, called "Houses", these sections of the sky, literally represent all the various ways and areas in which we live. For example the 1st slice represents the body, the actual birth, how difficult, how smooth; the 4th represents one's propensity or karma, or characteristics of happy or sad, home life. The 7th slice represents one's initial birth tendencies for happy or sad married life. The 10th slice represents every individual person's tendency to be attracted to this or that kind of career. (Hover over the symbols on the colorful chart graphic on the home page for more details about how Astrology and Astronomy works) Both systems also believe our Astrology chart, has the ability to show us, exactly, what a person's strengths & weaknesses, will be upon coming to this Earth. Take the exact moment and place of anyone's birth. Take a 'snapshot' of the exact position of the Sun, Moon, & Planets at that moment, and that 'picture' is a literal picture, blueprint, or 'chart' of any person's life.
Astrology is an ancient tradition which states that the character and destiny of a human being is influenced by the position of the planets at the moment of birth. Its roots and practice have influenced almost every culture from antiquity until today, and it has been used throughout its long history by different peoples for every imaginable purpose.
Astrology's most constructive contemporary expression is as a discipline freed of superstition and fatalism and based on Free Will. While it declares that the stars do influence our life (energy from the planets), it also acknowledges that the stars are not the sole cause of human behavior.
Over 2000 years ago, Aristotle was credited with the famous maxim, "Man and the stars generate man," which means that the influence of the sky is received and conditioned by the person's place in society. Circumstantial factors like culture, religion, education, age, and gender also affect the individual's behavior and possibilities in life. Thus, both the stars and the human being's worldly circumstance cooperate in the development of human life. This must never be forgotten. As the old adage goes, "The opportunities forthcoming to the child of a rich person are different than those of a child born into poverty."
Astrology's immediate value lies in enabling us to orient and order our lives. It encourages the growth of emotional maturity and guides us towards the satisfaction of a cheerful and peaceful mind amid the turbulence of an active life. Pragmatically, it offers an objective view of ourselves and teaches a rational approach for managing our daily affairs. Astrology's practice in due time becomes a way of life.

Judging by the number of hands painted in prehistoric caves, it would
seem the human hand held an interest for humans since the stone age.
Archaeological discoveries have discovered hands made of stone, wood,
and ivory by many ancient civilizations. The emperor of China used his
thumbprint when sealing documents in 3000 BC. Information on the laws and
practice of hand reading have been found in Vedic scripts, the Bible, and
early Semitic writings. Aristotle (384-322 BC) discovered a treatise on
palmistry on an alter to the God Hermes. The Greek physicians Hypocrites
and Galen (AD 130-200) were both knowledgeable about the use of palmistry
as a clinical aid. Julius Caesar (102-44bc) judged his men by palmistry.
The practice of palmistry was unfortunately forced underground by the
Catholic church who branded it devil worshiping. Anyone found to have
an interest was quickly murdered. As the church started to lose its
influence in society, common sense prevailed. Notable people such
as Paracelsus (1493-1541) and Fludd (1574-1637) brought respectability
to palmistry through their writings. Later Dr. Carl Carus, physician
to the king of Saxony in the 19th century matched palms to
personality. Advances in genetics, psychology and forensics
have propelled palmistry into the modern age.
In 1901 Scottland Yard adopted the technique of fingerprinting in
criminal investigation and identification. Medical researchers
studying skin patterns (dermatoglyphics), have discovered a
correspondence between genetic adnormalities and unusual markings
in the hand. Research has confirmed a link between specific
fingerprint patterns and heart disease. These days palmistry
is well accepted throughout the world. Pick up almost any copy
of a woman's magazine and there is some information on palmistry.
There are thousands of books written on the subject and
there are palmistry clubs the world across.

The Tarot is a deck of cards that originated over 500 years ago in
northern Italy. Although the Tarot was first used in a game called
Triumphs, it was quickly adopted as a tool for divination, and
popularized by occult societies such as the Hermetic Order of the
Golden Dawn. The early Tarot symbolism was deeply rooted in Medieval
and Renaissance Europe, but over the centuries it has grown to
incorporate everything from Astrology and Kabbalah to Runes
(which predate the Tarot by 1000 years) and the I Ching (which
predates the Tarot by 2500 years). Today, the Tarot is far and away
the most popular tool for spiritual introspection in the West.
Tarot readings are arrangements of cards drawn from a shuffled deck.
The layout of the cards is known as a spread, and determines what
each card refers to. For example, the Two Paths spread is used to
understand an upcoming decision, and hence it uses cards to
represent he different options and their outcomes.
Decks: Tarot decks consist of 78 cards. 22 of the cards are major arcana
(trumps), such as The Lovers, The Fool, The Pope, and The World. The
remaining 56 cards are minor arcana divided into 4 suites of 14 cards
each. The suites are Swords, Cups, Wands (sometimes called Rods or
Staves), and Pentacles (sometimes called Coins or Discs). Although the
traditional meanings of the cards are the same regardless of the specific
deck used, the imagery and language associated with each deck tends to
make it particularly useful for some types of readings. For example,
many people find the Renaissance Tarot particularly good at
questions of passion, mastery, and reason.
Reversals: About half of the cards in a reading are drawn reversed
(upside down), which either prolongs or inverts their meaning. For example,
Death upright means "change," but Death reversed means "stagnation."

The metaphysical science of numerology studies the meanings of names
and numbers. The birthname and birthday expresses an individual traits
mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Numerology can
help manage the journey through life by understanding the symbolism
of each number and the individual cycles during a lifetime.
The roots of numerology can be traced back some 10,000 years or more to
Egypt and Babylonia. Pythagoras, a sixth century Greek philosopher,
mathematician, and mystic, developed many of the basic theorems that
form the foundation of modern mathematics (including the right
triangle theorem taught in math classes today) is credited with
formally organizing the field about 2600 years ago in ancient Greece.
He examined the numbers one through nine as relayed them to the
full-scope of human characteristics. His beginning system has lead
to the development of Western Numerology which is used today. At the
turn of the twentieth century, an American woman, L. Dow Balliet, and
several of her contemporaries published a few books and started the
modern phase of numerology. The field grew slowly through several
decades. Now, in the last half of the century, increased research
and publishing along with a marked resurgence of interest
in numerology is taking place.
Through the years, numerology has evolved into a very organized
system of divination. It shows a map of patterns to human life
by using numbers that can be read as symbols to convey an idea,
an abstract concept, or an archetype. These symbols draw upon
qualities and symbols that are related in the Universe, which
show a series of repetitive patterns or cycles that present
birth, growth, and death through life.
The science of numerology comes natural to us. It is impossible
to talk about patterns in life without symbols, and numerology
is a language of symbols - "the symbolism of numbers". Symbols
serve to draw upon themselves the vast amount of knowledge that
exists in the archetypal world. Archetypes are unique bundles
of information, stored in the psyche until there are means to
attract their wealth into current lives. They convey knowledge
of things that were previously unknown, or were not conscious of.
The beauty of the use of numbers (as done in numerology) and human
characteristics is that they are naturally and inherently joined.
There is nothing arbitrary about joining the number 1 with originality
or inventiveness, because 1, no matter what language the number is
used in, means the beginning, the origin, the first, the birth.
Similarly, you will find that in numerology all single digit
numbers have a meaning that relates easily to our perspective
of the rhythm of things. They just make sense.

1) Candles. Tea Candles and Flame Free Tea Candles placed in Tea Candle Holders. Also use regular Candles in glass holders so you can cover and reuse. You can take these with you when you stay somewhere else like in hotel rooms and other people's homes – especially if you spend the night.

2) Crystal and Gemstone Candle Holders. Amethyst, Rose Quartz, etc. (see “Crystal and Gemstone Healing Properties - Quick Reference Guide”) and use regular Tea Candles or Flame Free Tea Candles to light. Energy of the crystals and gemstones are activated and dispersed throughout area.
3) Sage Bundles. Burn regularly to clear the energy. Always smudge in a clockwise formation around yourself (like a cookie-cutter) as well as around individual items and rooms. You can say: “I am clearing the negative energy from __________.” When you burn it make sure you have a door or window open so the smoke goes out of your place. The smoke of the Sage is what captures the negative energy and it needs to go out of your place or all you're doing is gathering it together and leaving it in your place.
4) Incense and Burning Oil. Rose scent rids your own and other's negative energy – it also helps
to relieve stress and anxiety, Lavender is a good overall spiritual scent, and Ocean is a good relaxing scent. When you burn it make sure you have a door or window open so the smoke goes out of your place. The smoke of the Incense and Oil is what captures the negative energy and it needs to go out
of your place or all you're doing is gathering it together and leaving it in your place.
5) Tibetan Brass Bowl and Bell. Hitting the Bowl and ringing the Bell can be used to cleanse people and areas. These are both used at the Spiritual Discovery™ Center on a regular basis. To purchase these items go to stores that sell China/India and Buddhist/Hindu items imported from these countries.
6) Salt Lamps. Lit with either light bulbs or with Tea Candles - you can also use the Flame Free Tea Candles. You should get the ones lit with light bulbs through the connection the Spiritual Discovery™ Center has with a local wholesaler who imports them directly from Tibet - the stores can really over price these. Look at drugstores like Walgreen’s and Rite Aid to try to find the small tea candle size for $10 to $20. These are natural ionizers that zap the positive ions in the air of which cause negative energy (negative ions create positive energy). These are the best at clearing negative energy - have one in each room of your home or office to clear the energy on an on-going basis. You will feel it!

7) Water Near Bed when You Sleep. Keep a glass of water near your bed every night. Never drink this water! It collects the negative energy and negative entities around you when you are sleeping. In the morning, take the glass with your left hand and throw the water in the toilet. Then fill the glass three times with water from the sink and empty it into the toilet. Then flush the toilet. Each time you empty the water into the toilet say: "I am releasing the negative energy collected in this water." Do this every night!
8) Rid a Negative Person from Effecting Your Life (relationships/friends/family/work, etc.). Put their name on a small piece of white paper in pencil. Put the piece of paper in a foam or plastic cup and cover it with water. Put the cup in the freezer. This will literally "freeze" their emotions toward you and have them move on to someone else to engage with their negativity. Leave this is the freezer until the negative energy from the person is no longer affecting you. This works – start using it immediately!

The Toltec Tradition is a way of life. It is a way of life that
offers one the complete freedom to be one's authentic self. The
path of change is unique to each of us and it has been found that
the Toltec tradition can assist each and every person in finding
his or her own inner truth, leading to a new way of being. This
way of being can allow one to experience a life free of limitations.
It is a path that can lead an individual to personal freedom and a
life based on love rather than fear. The Toltec tradition is not
merely a bunch of concepts. It is an approach to living - an
approach that, if practiced, will undoubtedly change one's
life completely and truly set them free.
After the Toltec conquered the city of Teotihuacan, around 700 AD,
a secret society formed within the Teotihuacan civilization dedicated
to preserving the knowledge of the wise ones. They have come to be
called the "Ancient Ones." The Ancient Ones were a race of indigenous
people who were recognized as teachers of spirituality, science, and
the arts. This secret society embraced the ideals of priestly rule
and peaceful behavior for which the city of Teotihuacan was formally
known. The apprentices who carried this wisdom forward became
known as “men and women of knowledge.”
According to the Toltec, the Ancient Ones understood the illusionary
nature of reality. They realized that life was limitless and that it
was our mind’s perspective of reality that caused all our suffering
and limitations. They knew all of life was part of a great mystery
and that there was no way to separate the secular from the sacred
nor science from spirit. To a “normal” person, they appeared to be
magicians or wizards because they could perform great feats such
as heal the sick and affecting the weather. They could also
manifest material objects and influence time.
After the Spanish conquest in the late 1500's, the knowledge became
a carefully guarded secret passed that was passed down and subtly
altered (like a great family recipe) through various family and
community lineages. Today, this information is slowly emerging
and being shared more openly.
The Toltec tradition is a wonderful journey, a journey in which
you will find your true self and have the opportunity to re-create
your life. It is a blueprint for living that shows one how to
experience life in a limitless manner. This tradition will show
one how to make profound, permanent changes in their life.
And the tools will enable them to reclaim ability to create
whatever they want, whenever they want it.

Over tens of thousands of years, our ancient ancestors all over the
world discovered how to maximize human abilities of mind and spirit
for healing and problem-solving. The remarkable sustem of methods they
developed is today known as "shamanism," a term that comes from a
Siberian tribal word for its practitioners: "shaman" (pronounced SHA-mahn).
Shamans are a type of medicine man or woman especially distinguished
by the use of journeys to hidden worlds otherwise mainly known through
myth, dream, and near-death experiences (NDE).
Anthropologists classify shamanism as an archaic magico-religious
phenomenon in which the shaman is the great master of ecstasy. When
a specialization is present the most common is as a healer. The shaman
makes use of spirit helpers, with whom he or she communicates, all the
while retaining control over his or her own consciousness. While some
researchers ignore the older traditional practices, others have begun
to explore these older techniques. The emergence of the new field of
"anthropology of consciousness" and the establishment of Transpersonal
Psychology have opened into the nature and history of consciousness in
ways not previously possible. Outside of academic circles a growing
number of people have begun to study ancient Shamanic techniques
of entering into altered states of consciousness.
Traditional shaman developed techniques for lucid dreaming and what is
today called the out-of-body-experience (OOBE). These methods for exploring
the inner landscape are being investigated by a wide range of people.
Some are academics, some come from non-traditional societies and others
are modern practitioners of non-traditional shamanism or neo-shamanism.
Along with these techniques, the NDE or near-death-experience have played
a significant role in shamanic practice and initiation for millennia.
There is extensive documentation of this in ethnographic studies of
traditional shamanism. With this renewed interest in these older
tradions these shamanic methods of working with dreams and being
conscious and awake while dreaming are receiving increased attention.
The shamanic journey is probably the oldest technology for understanding
the world of spirit and energy that supports and sustains the material
world that we live in. It utilizes rhythmic drumming, and or rattling
to move into a light trance state where we can go deep into ouselves.
This practice of journeying into self at the soul level is a tool for
seeing clearly issues and choices, past and present, in one's life. It
is a process we can use to strengthen our connections with our own inner
points of light. It is a tool for moving forward in courage and in joy.

Every individual who incarnates on this planet chooses the time of their
incarnation and their own path. All your past words, thoughts and actions
create an energetic record which results in karma. You are the author and
this karmic record is your life. How and what you are thinking, feeling,
and what you are doing this very moment will have its manifestation sometime
in your future. The law of karma is a circulating system that means in one
lifetime, you may be the victimizer and in another you become the victim.
Your mother or father might have been your daughter or son, sister or brother.
We switch roles in relationships from one lifetime to the next to learn about
ourselves. In relating to our lover, families, children, friends, co-workers
and even our pets we advance our soul on its evolutionary path. On a soul level,
we choose all relationships so that we can break old patterns. There are no
exceptions to that rule. Parents chose their children and are counting on the
fact that we are not going to play the old guilt games or buy into their drama.
On a subconscious level, they are thinking, "Boy, I sure hope my kids don't

To really love your parents, you must be true to yourself. When we try to
please them, we will end up leaving them in the same mess that they are in now.
One day or one lifetime someone we might finally decide to help them break
the pattern. All of us have some old patterns to release in our relationships
and we need each other to help us do it.
Welcome to the "age of relationships." It's impossible to force someone to
love you. When you are unkind, create destruction towards another, or lash
out at someone, you create Karma. This creates more of the same kind of actions
against you. As you learn to connect to your higher self and do the best you
can to relate to the world with the highest integrity and your greatest truth
you begin to release Karma created from earlier times.
Learning how to act out of the higher part of your SELF is the challenge of a
lifetime. Simply stated, when you create disharmony in the world, you create
Karma and postpone your growth until another time. Conflict unresolved through
physical actions, is also unresolved spiritually. This means you will have to
work it out after you leave the physical body. Instead of stepping forward on
your spiritual path, you will actually be stepping backwards. If you take
responsibility of your part in a relationship with your parents or anyone else,
you release Karma that frees you from further pain and suffering after you
leave your body.
Being in a relationship with people accelerates your spiritual growth and
awareness. The ultimate purpose of your human experience on earth is for
you to learn to have a balance of your inner soul while relating to your
family and others. The challenge is to operate from the highest part of
yourself and not lose sense of yourself or your space while in relationship.
If you perceive an adversary, your perception needs fixing. If perception
created the difficulty, perception can heal it. In facing a particular
relationship challenge, remind yourself that your conscious attitude creates
the outcome. Sit down in meditation, observe the dilemma and visualized the
desired outcome. It is always easier to do the work in advance so when someone
tries to push your buttons we have already defused the energy. Using meditation
and some mental imagery to resolve the conflict beforehand, creates a space
for you to put your energy and attention. This technique works with any person
or situation that intimidates you. If you focus on the problem itself it will
only create more of the same conflict.
Imagine a can of pink paint and mentally paint your adversary in that soft,
loving color or put sparkles all over them. It will be very difficult for them
to be vicious when you meet face to face after you have tinted them in that
rosy hue. You are free to use any symbols that are fun. Imagine what it feels
like when harmony has been restored. Run the entire encounter through your
mind's eye while you are in relaxed meditation. There is no way that you could
meet that person without remembering the work that you have done. All anger is
a call for love. You have offered love instead of conflict.
Developing a harmonious relationship with yourself allows you to have better
relationships with others. One way to heal and develop your inner self is to
learn spiritual tools to de-energize current thoughts that cause you to act
out of character of your own essence. By clairvoyantly learning what your own
blocks are, and get to know yourself, you can discover your true essence,
developing a better relationship with yourself.
To learn to be happy and at peace, you heal those you love! We need our
relationships in order to heal ourselves and reconnect to the ALL that is.
We also need our support group, families, and support tools to help us as we
dare to risk honesty with those closest to us. Dare to do your relationships
in a whole new way. Before you know it you will have harmonious relationships
with every individual on the planet and sharing your space in comfort.
When we master relationships we will have mastered it all. When we stop giving
our power away to people that we supposedly love but probably need, we will
have recovered our power in every area of our life. In healing your relationships,
you release lifetimes of programming and before you know it you will have
harmonious relationships with every individual on the planet.

When you meditate with your crystal or gemstone, wear crystal
or gemstone jewelry, or use crystals and gemstones for healing
you continue a practice that is as old as mankind. Offered
is the following brief historical perspective on the
history of crystals and gemstones.
The Prehistoric use of crystals and gemstones has been discovered
by archaeologists in various graves and barrows excavated in the
Middle East, Europe, Russia and Africa. What they have found are
beads, jewelry and carvings made of turquoise, garnet, crystal
and many other stones. Some of the discovered stones were in the
shape of various animals, and were probably symbols of a particular
fetish or totem. Many speculate that their presence in the
graves was to assist the departed soul in the next life.
One of the most fascinating discoveries showing prehistoric use
of crystals is the solar temple, Newgrange. This ancient passage
grave in the Boyne Valley of Ireland is older than the pyramids.
The solar temple was built in such a way that the sunlight would
stream through the 70-foot-long entrance tunnel on the Winter
Solstice. The temple roof was originally covered with white
quartz, to symbolize the White Goddess.
Another amazing archaeological discovery was that of perfect
Crystal Skulls. Estimates put the age of the skulls at least
20,000 years old. Perhaps the best known of the crystal skulls
is the Mitchell-Hedges skull. Some believe that the skull was
discovered by Anna Mitchell-Hedges (daughter of archaeologist
F.A. Hedges), in Guatemala while others speculate that she
bought the skull in London. Those who have spent time with
the skull have reported a variety of mystical experiences.
In Ancient Egyptian civilization crystals and gemstones were
widely used for a myriad of purposes. A hieroglyphic papyrus,
circa 2000 B.C., documents a medical cure using a crystal. Several
others, circa 1500 B.C., have additional prescriptions. Many other
stones were also found in the tombs. Turquoise, carnelian, and
tigers eye are among the few. These stones were shaped into shields,
amulets, and shapes of the heart. The pharaohs often had their
headdresses lined with malachite (a green mineral carbonate of copper)
the belief that it would help them rule wisely. Lapis was also considered
to be a royal stone. The Egyptians pulverized lapis and made it into
a poultice, which was then rubbed into the crown of the head. The
belief was that it drew out all spiritual impurities as it dried.
The Native American settlers of North, Central, and South America
used crystals and gemstones widely for spiritual, ceremonial, and
healing purposes. They also served practical purposes as well. The
ancient Mexicans made mirrors out of pyrite. The Mayan Indians used
obsidian for ceremonial knives and other tribes believed that it
served to sharpen both outer and inner vision. Mayans also used
quartz crystals for both the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Also, some Mexican Indian tribes believed that the souls of
those who led good lives would go into crystals.
In China and Japan quartz was traditionally revered, especially
in carved form. Quartz crystal balls were considered to represent
the heart or essence of the dragon. Dragons were thought to have
great power. A deeper meaning for "dragon" is that of a very wise
and evolved individual. Jade is mostly associated with China.
It was termed the concentrated essence of love. A jade
butterfly was a symbol of successful love.
The Ancient Culture of India is an amazing source of information
in reference to crystals and gemstones. The system of chakra's
(energy centers) in which we use to place crystals and gemstones
on for healing and meditation purpose's originated there.
Astrological documents written as early as 400 B.C. contain
detailed observations about the power of various stones to
counteract the negative effects of planetary positions. Stones
were regarded as having great spiritual and emotional powers.
Moonstone, for instance, was a sacred stone believed to
arouse love. Onyx, in contrast, was believed to help release
the ties of old love. The ruby ("king of precious stones")
was also a highly valued gemstone.

Reiki is one of the more widely known forms of energy healing.

On the contrary to what most people think: Feng Shui did not start
in China. It started in India over 6,000 years ago. At that time,
only the privileged could afford and practice Feng Shui. Just as
Buddhism originated in India and then became popular in China,
Feng Shui was also adopted by China.
The first Feng Shui Master in China is known as Master Sand of the
Tang Dynasty (618-906). He is known for his theories on dragon viens,
a vital contribution to modern Feng Shui: mountains and valleys,
Landscape Feng Shui and so forth. The idea was to help the farmers
know when to plant, and when to harvest the crops by using Landscape
Feng Shui. Thereafter, Feng Shui was embraced by China Emperors
and Empresses to maintain power.
When the Communists took over China, Feng Shui was outlawed. However,
Chairman Mao Zedong, secretly practiced Feng Shui to maintain power.
He ordered a "king-sized bed" for himself (which has been used by
emperors for centuries) to ensure that he slept as a King, and
therefore lived as a King. He ordered the killing of all Feng Shui
Masters for fear they would practice Feng Shui and use it to
overthrow his power. By the end of the Cultural Revolution,
Feng Shui became accessible again throughout China and
began to appear in the West as early as the 1970's.

The Sun, Moon & Planets of our Solar system, moved around, within a blanket, sky of constellations or Signs, that were always the same. Every spring, the Sun would move into Aries, and every Summer, Cancer, and Leo, and every winter, Capricorn, Aquarius & Pisces. It's amazing really, how similar both systems are! Both, believe that the Sun, Moon & Planets represent a language of Nature, that quite precisely, captures the special, unique and personal nature, characteristics, qualities & tendencies of every human being born, upon this Earth. In addition, both systems believe that the Planets, moving through the 'sky' represents the Karmas, or characteristics of our personalities, moving through all the different areas of our lives. Find the Earth, in that picture/drawing, in the middle, draw 12 slices of a pie, around the Earth, and those '12 slices' represent all the different areas of the Life. Traditionally, called "Houses", these sections of the sky, literally represent all the various ways and areas in which we live. For example the 1st slice represents the body, the actual birth, how difficult, how smooth; the 4th represents one's propensity or karma, or characteristics of happy or sad, home life. The 7th slice represents one's initial birth tendencies for happy or sad married life. The 10th slice represents every individual person's tendency to be attracted to this or that kind of career. Take the exact moment and place of anyone's birth. Take a 'snapshot' of the exact position of the Sun, Moon, & Planets at that moment, and that 'picture' is a literal picture, blueprint, or 'chart' of any person's life. Astrology is an ancient tradition which states that the character and destiny of a human being is influenced by the position of the planets at the moment of birth.
